Community Ride Series

Recycle-A-Bicycle’s Community Rides bring together community members from across NYC to explore the city, and beyond, by bike. By cycling together, we hope to empower New Yorkers of all identities, build community, and advance Bike New York’s mission of promoting safe, sustainable, and more equitable transportation for all.

FBBT Training Program: Saturdays and Wednesdays in April

Starting April 8th, 2023

Are you signed up for the TD Five Boro Bike Tour but unsure about going the distance? Do you want to meet other community members riding the Tour?

If you're interested in learning more about cycling and how to properly prepare (beyond the bike) for a 40-mile ride, this is the program for you!

We'll meet twice weekly in April so you can be Tour-ready in May. For each session we will slowly increase our mileage, and finish up with a discussion about other aspects of the Tour (proper hydration/nutrition, stretching, etc.).

Complete four or more rides and you'll receive a Trek X Recycle-A-Bicycle Water Bottle!
